Thank goodness for our cleaning people because I'm not sure if we even own a vaccuum. (Just kidding, I'm pretty sure we own one - I just don't know where hubbo keeps it.)
It's pretty lucky for me that I have a few redeeming qualities. I can weed a mean garden. Check out this tomato in our Garden O' Apathy. It's a Princeton tomato. In the background you can see the shadow of 2 more that are nearly as ripe. Better yet, the other night I counted about a dozen tomatoes in various stages of growth and ripeness. Now I just need to figure out what to do with them. I'd love to try to make sauce. I suck at doing dishes but I cook pretty well. Does anyone have a kick-butt recipe?
I seem to remember reading a nice tomato sauce recipe at either smitten kitchen or simply recipes last summer . I didn't try it (all our tomato's went to salsa) but I drooled over it.
ReplyDeleteRecipe? Me? I got a -22 on the quiz so you'll not get a thing out of me. :-D
ReplyDeleteI only got a 4, but I do have a great pasta sauce recipie.
ReplyDeleteI have canned tomatoes but it was a while ago and I can't really remember what I did. I believe it was a PITA.
ReplyDeleteRumor has it our tomatoes are going to get grabbed up before that for fried green tomatoes. Yeah, I was no queen of that test, either.
