Vacation Recovery

Isn't it amazing how starting your weekend by going out on Friday night makes it seem so much longer? This past Friday night we brought dinner to my friend who had recent surgery and her family and saw that she is healing well and in good spirits. It was very reassuring.

The rest of the weekend was filled mostly with relaxing although I did spend the early (way too early) part of Saturday in a CPR/First Aid class. My nails look pretty now, 2 new socks are on the needles, a new book has been started and I can finally say that I've recovered from our vacation. Ahhhh.... I need another vacation.
