I could've called this post a lot of things - How do you like me now? One down, one to go. New and improved. Finished Objects: bathroom edition. - You get the picture. The title I chose is a nod to my sister who's been picking on my nasty bath for a long time.

What you see above is the before. My house is a bit over 40 years old and it really showed. The bathroom was completely original. Can't you tell? Witness the lovely yellow tiles, sink and toilet. You can't see it but the shower door had a crack since the day we bought it and probably long before that. That shower was just pitiful. I wanted it redone for-freakin'-ever! In fact, the peeled wallpaper is a testament to my impatience. I'd get frustrated and tug on it. As of today that bathroom is finally done (except for a missing tile and a little touch up). I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. The tile is a combination of stone and crackled glass. As a bonus you may see that we installed water tiles in the shower. The hardware is brushed nickel and the cabinets are cherry. I love it.
Now lets see how long it takes for bathroom number 2 to be completed.
